Tibet motorbike tour riding the Royal Enfield Classic 500 c.c from Kathmandu into Tibet and vice versa. The ride takes us on motorcycle journey over the longest ascend as well as descend in the world. This is a shorter format of the tour and will not reach Lhasa the capital. However, the ride gives opportunity to view North Face of Mt. Everest up close and reach the Base camp.
Start of the ride from Nepal, the trips menders through an astounding trail following the north east end of the valley. Further, the motorcycle tour pass through effected area of 25th April 2015 earthquake with the scar of aftermath still active. However, the route is based on seasonal rides, but a private date can always be worked out.
After riding over the longest up hill to reach Rongbuk Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp in Tibet over five days, the trip again reach Nepal with a mesmerizing downhill ride of a lifetime. The odyssey of motorcycling on the aired plateau averaging 4400 meters is complemented with the greenery in Nepal after crossing the friendship bridge.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu / Hotel Transfer / Trip Briefing and Paperwork. Overnight Hotel
Day 02: Motorbike Check & Preparation. Start a warm up ride to Nagarkot / Overnight Hotel
Day 03: Ride off road to Chautara via Melamche (magnificent trail) and follow the main highway to Kodari Border. Overnight Lodge
Day 04: Cross Border and Ride to Nylam. Overnight Lodge
Day 05: Rest day Nylam. Overnight
Day 06: Ride to Low Tingri, Rest.
Day 07: Ride to Rongbuk and EBC, Overnights Rongbuk
Day 08: Ride to Zhangmu. Overnight
Day 09: Cross border and ride to Kathmandu via Dhulikhel to Kathmandu, End of the tour. Overnight Hotel.
Day 10: Leave for home (at an appointed time transfer to international airport) or continue tour of specific interest (on request).
